Alexander’s day takes a turn for the worse the moment he opens his eyes and discovers a wad of gum stubbornly stuck in his hair. What begins as a minor annoyance quickly snowballs into a series of unfortunate events, setting the tone for a day that only seems to get messier by the minute. One mishap follows another, turning his ordinary day into a complete disaster. But to his frustration, no one in his family seems to take his troubles seriously. Feeling misunderstood and alone, Alexander begins to question whether he’s the only one in the world who has such terrible luck.
However, as the day unfolds, his mom, dad, older brother, and sister each find themselves facing their own unexpected disasters from work blunders to embarrassing social mishaps.
